BIOGRAFIA
Miniaturista boemo, formatosi all’Accademia di Vienna, sotto Johann Ender e Kupelwieser, dopo aver viaggiato in Germania, Francia, Belgio, Inghilterra e Russia, si stabilì a Vienna come pittore di miniatura ad acquerello dell’aristocrazia. I suoi lavori, secondo Schidlof, sono nello stile di Daffinger e Peter, con un tratto maggiormente incrociato (1964, II, pp. 739-740).
