BIOGRAFIA
Nato a Saint-Vait-an-der-Glan nel 1817, fu pittore ritrattista e litografo. Studiò giurisprudenza a Vienna e Padova. Lavorò presso un tribunale civile a Vienna dal 1844 in poi e contemporaneamente iniziò con successo la carriera di ritrattista, finché nel 1854 abbandonò la legge per dedicarsi interamente alla ritrattistica. Studiò all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. Morì nel 1885 a Bad Steinerhof (Kapfemberg).
